Default Hyundai Canada looses CEO to KIA

Hyundai Auto Canada has announced that effective January 2, 2002, Mr. Steve Kelleher will take over the positions of President and Chief Executive Officer of Hyundai Auto Canada from Mr. Jong Hoon Lee. Mr. Lee will become President and Chief Operating Officer of Kia Motors of America

Nope, it was an offical press release though. Those rarely state reasons.

Yeah, they say that he is the first non-Korean president and they are hoping that with this change, a new era of imporvement will arise...

lets not forget Hyundai almost owns kia, ie the swap is a power move to tell the kia guys who's in charge. Or so the romours go smile.gif
