Tesla introduced their new ticket avoidance mode for the Model S which can detect the nearby presence of a meter maid or law enforcement officer.
If the Model S detects an imminent ticket, it performs hilarious countermeasures by turning on the windshield wipers and washers. If the officer persists, the car drives around the block until the officer gives up then parks in the same spot.
If the threat doesn’t end, the car can circle the block until you’re ready for pickup! The software update can be found here.
