Thats amazing. Cant believe this happened in Poland..makes me proud to be Polish haha tongue.gif smile.gif
Edit: I went on the actual Polish forum and found the thread. Heres the translation: It took the guy two years, working everyday to build the car. It came from a 1988 Mercedes 500 SEC. This was the first SLR in Poland..the real SLR was supposed to come out a year later. He had "experts" look at the car and was told that it was made better then the original SLR.

Then their experts really are "Polish". Look at the panel gaps around the headlights, and where the hood meets the fenders, where the fenders meet the doors, where the trunk meets the rear quarterpanels...
It's good at first glance, but it's hardly first rate. Compare the shot of his car to the REAL car someone posted 10-20 posts down... Again, hardly first rate.

Dude, for one watch the derogatory Polish comment; some of us, like ME squintfinger.gif , might not appreciate that garbage. I merely translated what I read, i didnt say it was; just that they claimed it to be. I honestly could care less on what the difference is; all I know is its a pretty damn good knockoff and it took a lot of skill to do that.
