My have a couple of friends with SRT-4's and they love it...one of them did so much research before he even test drive it...if you get on 03 srt they come with 7 year warranty...plus i drive my boy's car and the $hit is quick, it has alot of torque of the line...also it has alot of aftermarket support...my advise go with the srt

RSX-S for fun to drive factor and for reliability. They make no power with basic mods.
SRT-4 for power.
Tib for good warranty support and reliability... eh... bout it. tongue.gif
Cobalt if he's gay.

My brother just bought a 2006 tib SE. I highly reccomend it, if you want something fun to drive and some good looks on the way, go for the tib. Remember the srt-4 is still a neon. As for the cobalt, cheap plastics on the interior from what I have seen, (chevy is in need to cut corners to get their cost down). The RSX is a nice car, my second choice.

Yeah, the SRT-4 is a Neon with a torque sensing LSD, very nice gearbox, strengthened chassis, and the fastest car under $25,000 or so. Outperforms lots of "performance cars" in a straight line and on the track (350Z, Boxster, etc.).
But as said, the Cobalt is cheaply put together. I wouldn't buy anything from Chevy past 1982 or so. Thats when they started half assing every thing. Even the newer Vettes have a tendency to have little gimmicks.
