Lamborghini unveils the new Murciélago.
The two-seater sports coupe is powered by a 6.2 liter V12 mid-engine, developing 426 kW at 7,500 rpm and 650 Nm at 5,400 rpm. Transmission is via six-speed manual transmission to all four wheels. The claimed top speed is claimed at more than 330 km/h, depending on the aerodynamic setup. The
claimed acceleration from 0 - 100 km/h is 3.8 seconds. The Murciélago features a variable rear spoiler, with a setting that depends on the vehicle speed, bi-xenon headlights, and 8x18 and 13x18 (rear) alloy rims with 245/35 and 335/30 (rear) tires. A shorter sport transmission and a navigation system are offered as options.
