Interesting read. Seems GM is doing much better than Ford. That's what you get for trying to push your products with pop culture phrases like Eco-boost.

 

It doesn't help any car maker when they make transmissions that are guaranteed to fail, like their stupid little dry clutch automated manual.

 

I drive a 2014 fiesta at work and that 6 speed auto has almost stalled coming to a stop while shaking violently 2-3 times.. 20k miles and it's bound to fall apart at any time. Between gears it shakes bad too..

My buddy had a rental fusion with the Ecoboost and it was smooth and quick
