Finally Got My 2006 Eclipse (pics)
#1
As some of you know, my 2000 Tiburon was assasinated by a 77 year old lady and her POS Civic.
You can read about it as well as see pics here:

As I said in a previous post, I really don't like the new Tiburon body style so I decided to go with the 2006 Eclipse. I finally picked up my car on June 23rd.
263HP
260 LB. torque
0-60 5.8 seconds
1/4 mile 14.2 seconds
Here are some pics.

Thanks man. Yea, I haven't seen one on the road yet either. There's a guy who posts on the 4G Eclipse forums (http://www.club4geclipse.com) who lives near me with the same car in Sportronic.

If he turboed it it would be too much power for a fwd car
Too much power?
No such thing. wink1.gif
Nah, if anything, I'd probably supercharge it but I wouldn't do that until the 100,000 mile warranty runs out.
Amazingly, this thing has very little torque steer. It's fast as shit and it handles better than my Tib did stock. As soon as Eibach releases the Pro Sytem Kit, I'm going to get it. I had it in the Tib and LOVED it.
I tinted the windows a few weeks ago, I'll take more pics. I also ordered new wheels and tires.
I'm not too crazy about the Eclipse wheels, plus the tires aren't high performance tires, so I wanna change them too. I'm pretty picky with wheels and I don't like having the same ones as everyone else.
I decided to go with the WedsSport TC005s.
Normally, I don't like a split 5 spoke because they are so played out. This one is definately unique.
Oh and did I mention the weight?
16.8 lbs!!!! laugh.gif
These are True Japanese Racing Wheels. laugh.gif

That car looks great in silver, congrats!! Those wheels looks great too.
Thanks man. IMO, it's the only one that the aluminum fuel door looks good on too.
I <3 silver "muscular" cars.

Very very nice!! There's a silver one around here as well, they look pretty good. They also have a real nice color blue, and this REALLY good looking orange one at the dealership, I want!! Dunno if they are GT's though. But pretty good looking cars.
