I wasn't claiming they cheated, I was reading an article not long ago about how they constructed their first deliberately flexible wing and the amount of research that went into designing a conforming composite while being strong enough to hold shape on the straits. That's pure genius. Proof is that almost every major competitor in F1 has adopted the like and FIA now has to test the wings for flex tolerances on all cars. That kind of innovation isn't coincidence. That was the point. As for claiming Ferrari goes overboard on suspension design, I can't argue too much, but its not like pull rods are all that innovative. Now RBRs monoshock design a few years back, that was pretty hard core. Id say it goes both directions. The only draw back for Ferrari was trying to run FXX project and design the F12, FF and LF with Scuderia close at hand. Competitive sports and manufacturing became a bigger jugging act, where as RBR was pretty much left to their own devices.

I know, I'm only talking about over-engineering the aesthetic qualities like the shapes. The reason I liked the next Genesis concept is because the representative mentioned that the body was designed to look like one piece, like a cover that fits precisely and meticulously on a Rolex watch. These cars look like they're composed of many, many unnecessary pieces.

I'm imagining seeing you like one of the witches from Hocus Pocus
