I love how the DSM guys thought they had the Vette in the last race. The Vette obviously gave them a head start. Only 13-second DSM punks would want the "head" start and think they're bad ass with their AWD. You can hear the Vette actually trying when it passes the DSM. Sad. Extremely sad. They need to invest in a 9-sec DSM if they thought they "kept up" with the Vette. They're a joke to real DSM tuners.

 

dang arctic, thats pretty harsh, what i got from the vid was that they knew how awesome the vette was and wanted to see it run. kinda like the time i raced the z06 corvette or the time i raced the camaro ss or that other time with the stingray, well you get the picture. laugh.gif:

I think they weren't expecting it at first but when he punched it early on they were like HOLY CRAP!! i have to race that!! who here wouldn't have thought the same thing?

 

Them saying "Wow man, that was a good pull" at the end aggrivated me because I think the 'Vette didn't want to damage anything off the launch. He bogged it off the line and still raped them which was funny. tongue.gif

Are you kidding me? That's like...making more of a reason for domestic guys to laugh and taunt us...and boost their inflated ego. I say...if you can successfully produce a car that can beat the majority of stock muscle cars (like 50%-70%)...then definitely go for it. But until then, don't feed their inflated ego.

 

I can understand how anyone would like to take a shot at the vette just to see it run. However, arctic is right. There are so many stupid ricers or even "real tuners" that have these egos that they can do anything. But racing a vette with a car that has nothing even close to match it is just stupid. It just gives all those mid-life crises guys with muscle cars even more of a reason to hate us. Some of us want respect from the older more knowledgable guys, not just a quick car that looks cool.

So i can see both sides. But people need to give respect where it is deserved and when you lose that bad dont make excuses like, " But we beat him off the line so it was a good run". That just....Ricer.
