I heard the new "GT-R", not Skyline, is a Twin Turbo 6 cylinder with all wheel drive though... Where did this V8 factor come into play? Damn that would be cool to see... Too bad there is no way in HELL that they would bring such a nice car into this crappy cold snowy icy mess called Chicago. I don't think nice cars should be allowed to drive in the winter by law!

Is it me, or are all the 07 cars looking like spaceships? This GTR is like Chevy's new camaro, looks nothing like a camaro. That being said, the new GTR looks nothing like a GTR. Still a sexy car, but not a GTR. Thats just my opinion tho.

Just passing along something one of my friends at a local dealership said. He told me last year the skyline would be back in 2007, most likely bassed off an extended 350 or g35 platform running a twin turbo version of the 3.5L v6. course that was a year ago, and hes never mentioned anything else about it, and ive never asked.
i dont realy like the look personaly, it SHOULD be a realy nice car tho.

That must have been cool to see. Im not too fond of the new Skyline styles though..its hardly a Skyline anymore; Nissan isnt using the RB in there and the body style is just not what youd expect.

^nicely said, but despite that you know people are going to want it. unfortunately, even if you changed everything about it and slapped a skyline badge on there people would still buy it. i guess they're just promoting the car by driving it around?
hehe... you got money who cares dude. most government working dad's store these cars in their garages and never really take them out much. but when you've got money flying from all directions, who cares. at least that's what they think.
in DC, i saw two 360 modenas, one convertible parked just right f*ckin' there for anyone to mess with or hit top down and all. the second time i was there a f*ckin' valet was parking someone's gallardo in front of a club like right in the heart of a mess of traffic and worst streets everywhere.

Looks pretty nice to me but not like a Skyline. I miss the boxy sexiness personally. A twin turbo 6 banger sounds much better than big block V-8 in terms or uniqueness and not submitting to the American "really big engine" mantra. And 70 grand? Even with the Skyline badge, I couldn't bring myself to shell out 70 grand for a car I'm not totally in love with.
