If I wanted fuel efficiency in my play toys, I'd use an electric motor and solar panels.

I get 27 highway in the tib on 93 octane.

I know a 13B is "evil and will castrate your friends by sound alone" to most people.

But that doesn't change the fact that I want one.

The LS1 is a spoiled brat paris hilton of engines.

Nice ride, good looks,, lots of exposure, has fuckloads of accessories, but leaves you feeling empty inside.

I think people are just scared because there's less parts in a Wankel, it's a different breed, and it has "fuel issues" from the 70's.

the newer rx8 engines address the fuel problems using side exit exhaust ports instead of peripheral exaust ports, as well as more advanced tuning.

Remember, the LS1 has a nasty(in a good way) little trick up it's sleve, that ECU that is years newer than the 80's one in the rx7...

Let me give you a ride in my roommate's full interior, A/C, stereo, daily drivable Camaro. You'll feel something inside.

I'd rater have a motor that is predictable and consensual.

Seems like a problem of reliability there.
