Camaro Z28: latest spy shots
If you don't already check out leftlanenews.com. Most of the time they are a day or two behind on auto news, and they need editors/spell check desperately, but unlike many of the auto news sites out there, they are fair. Well today I stumbled across more spy shots of the Camaro Z28 and on the dash it looks like they have a spec sheet. OH holy mother of petrol, I hope this is right:
If this is to be believed, that's tauting the same LS9 that's in the ZR1! Probably detuned to the mid to upper 500's as I highly doubt that they'll let a Camaro challenge the halo car. But what is this "6AT" crap? An auto has no place in the Z28! Deal with the standard manual, or go the Ascari method and offer a Quaife (not sure which exact brand Ascari went for) sequential gearbox.
