Accent Sr

I saw one of these for the first time today, I have only seen pictures of them. It's actually not a bad looking car. Has anyone ever driven one? I'm sure it's not all that fast, but still looks like a fun car.

that was the concept.. the actual production car has been out for a couple years now in canada.
its basically the new accent hatch with a body kit, wheels, and i think a couple performance add-ons giving it like 130-140hp i believe... basically a 20k$, overpriced econobox..

whats worse is hyundai said they would officially return to the WRC and have a project in russelsheim. they said that in 2003 to be ready for 2006. 2006 came in silence. 2007 came in silence. 2008 will also come in silence. i think they just ditched rallying altogether.
yeah econobox. i wouldn't be caught in it.

the accent SR is basicly a stock accent with
body kit,
sound sytem,
alloy wheels,
shorth ram + cone air filter,
axle back (muffler only)
front strut bar
the engine is the SAME 1.6 used in other 2007 + accent
so i doubt it's making serious power.. maybee 10 whp more then a regular accent but with the weight of all option in the end performances should be the same...

No Accent in North America was ever offered with a 1.8 litre engine. They have always had either 1.5 or 1.6 litre engines.

And I believe it has the SOHC or DOHC so maybe thats why you thought it was a 2.0 because of the DOHC.
Im going to get a newer accent when I sell the RD2 I think. Maybe Ill find one with a beta in it for cheap.
