Alright, so most of you guys know, i sold the tibby.

Well today i bought a 97 Eclipse with 147 on it.

For 800$

Had a bad motor.

So tonight i decided to move it to the back of my house.. of course with my luck, the block cracks and motor is totally a goner, we hooked up a log chain to the cross member.

There is no other place to tow this car in the front.

So with my luck again, something goes wrong, the radiator cracks.

So out comes oil and antifreeze alllll over.....

Heres some pics of my ride.

so anyways, the point of this thread was to see if you guys know of any junkyards with motors for this car.

97 Eclipse, Non turbo, fwd, 2.0l,auto

I know its auto, but its kinda nice having an auto at times, i will probably leave it auto and build it up.

I will pay for freight charges and what not.

Looking to spend 1-500~ on the motor

I got a radiator already ordered.

Please let me know.

Damn your luck sucks. Otherwise that is a really clean car. Try http://www.2gnt.com/nuke/index.php

You will get everything you need from there. If for some strange reason you decide to part it out please let me know.

Welcome to the DSM family. Good luck.

I'll keep a lookout for some engines but you are simply looking on the wrong forums dude. dsmtuners would be a start....

^^^i don't agree. you should have atleast got a 5spd. the 420a motor is fun to turbo. good luck getting a new one.

ALso, the FWD turbo Eclipse is also fun but of course you cannot be the greatness of the GSX

There are kits for the 420a which give decent power.
