if a breaker bar doesnt work, then your either doing something wrong, or someone welded the bolt in.. or your not using a long enough bar.. and since its hard to do it wrong, and no one woulda welded the bolt in, the bar needs to be longer..

or you need to start working out..

a breaker bar allows you to get much more torque than any impact will have.
