Seeing as we just got the tib in the shop this weekend to start fixing it, we had some fun with my 240sx and threw a wet kit on it for the strip friday night. The boosted tib will be up and running soon now, but just felt like posting how i did with the nitrous on the 240. It has 2.5" exhaust and a cone filter hehe.





Not so great reaction times...wasnt really tryin for em and the .712 they screwed us by starting the tree on us b4 we were even completely staged but meh i was just out there for fun laugh.gif

 

How many shots of nitrous man???

 

prolly around a 60~75 wet shot

 

I hope you show times for you Tib when you get it running.

yeah i didnt thrash it too hard actually, just a big jet size on the shot, and to be honest i think my tracks just slower than some others, or you run on a short track, 15.1 with ur mods is unreal. And i will definitely post times for the tib after i get it out there

 

Bah, his time rounds to 15.2. tongue.gif I'll be right there with him once I get to the track with I/H/E... and the track is a quarter mile right down to the foot. Me and OP just know how to drive, thats all. wink1.gif

Your slips are decent, however you either need fresh, better rubber or your launching needs work. You should definately be able to pull out some better 60' times, which would help your overall times a lot.

 

i drive damn good, the tracks shitty everyone slows i think that is what is really throwing us off, i didnt bother adjsuting the tire press. or putting biger rubber on there or even drove it that hard cuz the clutch slips a tad with that shot, i didnt mean to sound like i was being dick, i just know you can run blah blah at one track and run 3 tenths faster at another too. laugh.gif

 

You didn't come across like a dick. laugh.gif The track I run at is pretty much near optimum altitude, so as long as you pick a good, nice day you can run some decent times, although the track does need resurfacing, especially in the left lane, which I avoid at all costs. lol.gif They're supposedly building a track literally 5 miles from my house this summer, so in a year or two I can practically live at the drag strip. wink1.gif

Definately get the Tib running again and take it to a good track around ya, so we can see how good your "damn good" driving is. lol.gif

 

heh, dont be an ass, you can say u drive so good but when i do its funny? trust me i drive just fine, i just didnt need to push my luck anymore with the 240 then i already did by putting the juice on it. The clutch is hating me man, didnt like it all so launches were weak wink1.gif The tib however is gonna get drove like i hate it and it better learn to like it. tongue.gif
