Aw geez!

I heard somewhere that if you're looking into buying a new car, you should always buy a car when it is in it's second or third production run, i.e., if you're looking into a 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse, you should wait for the '07-'08 model before buying, so all the recall issues and some major bugs are cleaned.

In this case, it seems like it would be worth it.

Damn though, a 265hp V-6. Not the tuner type though, so that's where it's most likely going to stay!

2G was the best. 1G was fast and ugly. 3G is slow and gay. 4G looks like an iteration of the 3G with more power and possibly refinement. still, the 3G and 4G seem like a mainstream car. 1G and 2G were cool. IMO laugh.gif

$30k for a damn Eclipse? The 2005's were only like $20k. Haha, I said "only."

Bah, either way Eclipses are every where. Roll up to your local Wawa in an Eclipse. Big deal.

Roll up to your local Wawa in an RD Tiburon (rare in these parts) with your 17's/Tint/CAI (mine) and you will get looks.

I get looks all the time on the road. It's definitely a curvy/sporty looking car, and I think it intimidates those ricers on the road who don't know what's under the hood.

I'm trying to get my car to run sportier to match it's sporty looks, fo sho.

i hate the new eclipse. its improvement, but mitshu refuses to release another awd car cuz of "the history of lacking consumer interest" .....errrrr they said, if u wanna go awd, get an evo....which id admit is a good point. but STILL....... i also dont really like the design. dunno why just dont.
