The xD isn't on there (yet).
That is a really weird list though. I wonder how they determined it.

Wouldn't they just look at all the cars that get ticketed and those 10 came in the most? I'm not surprised at all, all those cars are either owned by douche bags or people under 25, or even worse, douche bags that are under 25 cool.gif

Hmm...it seems like a lot of those cars are uncommon enough that I doubt they get ticketed more than something like Camrys (vs the Camry Solara specifically) or F-150's that sell 50 times as many vehicles. I'm guessing it's number of tickets per car sold.

The article says this did it like this :
""Quality Planning compiled its list of the most misbehaving cars by surveying 1.7 million tickets issued between 2007 and 2008, and calculating the average number of moving violations across all models, for a national average of 0.23 tickets per 100,000 miles.""
Sounds like they had a big stack of traffic tickets, narrowed that stack down to moving violations and then just tallied up the vehicles on a board and then looked and said "here's the 10 with the most tally marks"
It does make perfect since that there aren't ferraris and other nonsense on there since 1)fast enough to outrun anything but radioes and helicopters, and 2) not enough of them on the roads to statistically make a difference at all

There is no way that there are more tickets given to 2009 Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG's than other more common cars.
In the first half of 09 only 990 Mercedes CLS class cars were sold, a larger percentage of those CLS550 Coupes than the CLS63 AMG.
Projected through August that's about 1,320 CLS cars, figure 500-700 CLS63 AMG's max.
Compare that to approximately 140,000 Honda Accords in the same time frame. It may not be impossible, but I seriously doubt that you're 280 times more likely to get a ticket in a CLS63 AMG than an Accord.
Not to mention that in 2007 and 2008 when their data was supposedly gathered very few of the 2009 models were out and those that were could only have been out a couple of months of their 2 year data period. Zero of the 2010 models were out.
