Doing some wheel shopping for my car and I see both types of rims...hub centric and lug centric. Which is better and whats the difference?

Hub centric. They hold the wheel to the center of the hub. If they're lug centric, you need tapered lug nuts to hold them in place. Tapered lug nuts + hub centric wheels or wheels with hub centric rings will keep vibrations to a minimum.

aren't pretty much ALL lugs tapered?? I've never used any lugs that werent tapered..

When I didn't have my hubcentric rings on the srt-4 (hubcentric rims) I noticed zero difference.. same with the SRT-4 and now with the Jeep.. All used tapered lug nuts..

"lug centric" is just a way of saying "not hub-centric". If the rims aren't hub-centric, just get hub-centric rings.
