I don't know if it has to do with my system or not, but i've been getting shocked every time i get out of my car. Could this have something to do with the grounding of the amp in anyway?

It has to do with the grounding of YOU, and the grounding of your car. The amp will not shock you unless you are soaked in salt water holding its power leads.

I've had cars that shock me and cars that don't. It has never made a difference adding/removing a stereo system. Stereo systems work with low voltage, static electricity is very high voltage.

Not to mention that any stereo system would be trying to ground out to the battery, not the actual ground.

I started noticing my car doing that after I put my sound system in. Now that I removed it, it still shocks me when I get out. If I get out and shut the door using just the window glass then I don't get shocked.

It's not your car it's you that has the static charge. It is the car that is grounding it and allowing the discharge.
