That's not a short shifter, that's a shorter shifter.
he's looking for an actual performance modification, like a SHORT THROW SHIFTER, I'm sure.

I lowered my shifter since the stock one felt like I was driving a truck. Not only can I shift it quicker now, it looks way better being shorter.
I have never seen what the short throw shifter for the RD2 looks like so I can't really compare what I did to the real thing, but it's worth it if you have the tools and no $$.
