Ever order from Kspec or some other places and get the run around while the CS folks try to figure out what the hell happened to your order?

Almost happened with my first one with SFR. I contacted Jay, he saw that my package was being held at the post office, so he went and fixed the paper work and paid $160 to send me my stuff express for the Nopi show this weekend.

That's customer service for you.

As for packaging?

I know I'm part of SFR, but I gotta toot our own horn here. Every package I've ever recieved from Korea, except for those shipped by service members, has shown up with holes in it, and or parts damaged or missing.

Every single one.

Ever.

I just recieved my first package from SFR.

The chain is broken. No holes in the packaging, nothing damaged (a little scrape on one of 7 diamond plate pieces), and everything in perfect brand new condition.

I just took pics, and am uploading them now.

Thanks Jay!

I also just got my first package from SFR. Not pleased... I ordered the GK pedal SET, and got just the gas pedal. It was in one flimsy little box, and the end had poked a hole in it. No damage at all, the pedal assembly is pretty tough, but there wasn't even newspaper or anything protecting it. And there was no brake/clutch pedal even though i sent the extra money for it.
I've emailed him, so hopefully something can come through.

Glad yours worked out well though RED Z! I'm really glad there's now a good company that supports us instead of Kspec, and I can't wait to see what else they can come out with!

It's probably coming in 2 separate packages.

This package I got was HUGE. Small packages with light stuff in them usually just go out as is. Sorry if it got a hole in it mang.

I will get pics up guys, but Nopi prep is the priority right now.

Also, I'd like to remind everyone, that when I worked with Kspec, I tried for years to get them to add parts and kits to the site. They'd never do it. I'd do all the research, get all the part numbers, and nothing.

SFR? Look at it. We have the pedal kit, complete, we have the beta 2 valve cover combo, the KDM Dash swap, and the Double to Single din swap kit coming.

I ordered a pair of RD2 clear corners and two 60mm big bore throttle bodies with cruise control adaptors from SFR.

I got my order yesterday and one of the thorttle bodies was missing! I called them up last night and they said sometimes it is easier to clear customs if they ship everything in seperate boxes. We agreed to wait another week or so and SFR told me if I do not get it they would ship out another to me immediately. That is the way customer service should be. In todays market where customer service is almost non-existant, it is nice to have a company who actually works with its customers, and makes certain one way or another that you get what you order. I'll let everyone know how it turns out.

I've ordered two items from SFR. The first, a set of the three hole washer nozzles was shipped promptly and received in good condition. My only comment would be that there was no shipping notification.

The second item is a set of clear corners purchased from Ebay. It was only a week ago so I don't have them yet but I also have not received any communication from SFR. I received the standard e-mail from Ebay telling me to pay for the item and the standard receipt from Paypal giving proof of payment but it would be nice to receive something from SFR, particularly an e-mail advising that the item has shipped. It probably has been shipped but it would be helpful or reassuring to know that it has been and also allows the purchaser to have some idea as to when to expect to see it.

So far it seems that SFR's relationship with our community is a good one and I expect to have further dealings with them in the future.

I believe for stuff on our site you are supposed to get a shipping notification. I'll find out more folks.

just received my ebrake cables.

took 2 weeks, a little longer than i had hoped, but it is completely withing reason considering it came from korea.

packaging was great, product looks great.

i too did not receive a shipping notice, which did have me worried a little bit. i shouldnt say worried, just un-informed, which nobody ever really likes.

overall, thumbs up...would definitely buy from again.

^^^ word on the GB, but we have to wait till the other one is finished.

I'm considering on ordering a BBTB, i want a 65mm with CC. It would be sweet to get the GB so a lil discount would be there.

RedZ please?

I too picked up a set of clears from ebay, but i'm not worried. After dealing with so many online companies, whether it's ebay or not, 90% of the time I don't get shipping confirmations, and usually by the time I do (10%), the package is already at my door.
