Nice to see, so if we order it will be coming from Korea, or will there be products provided from Kspec on shelves in the US?

Yeah, please get us some more info on the ECU's, RD's are a different breed, and finding someone to tune a ECU FOR us in the US, well, there are some hiccups.

1. Is it going to be a direct swap or do we need a harness adapter or splice it in?

2. Is it going to be a ECU that we can have flashed or something here in the US later for complimentary modifications?

Great to see the word out mang.

I'm really impressed with the way that Alpine is turning around now.

I may actually consider coming back to the dark side, well, depending on the way this "new" ECU comes about. I know that was my biggest complaint with the turbo was the Unichip and the lack of support for it. So, hopefully this will be a welcome change. smile.gif

I want to know about those ECU's. Are they for RD Tiburons? Because I only see supercharger kits for GK's. Are the OEM Replacement ECU's available for RD's, if not are they going to be and when?

If the computers are OEM replacement and you don't have to tap into any wires, i'll be down for one if I put my supercharger in. can you buy these computer seperately, from Kspec?

Damn, superchagers, i'm thinking of getting my tib charged in a near future!! Don't know much about them, i need to read more. Anybody that knows, please enlighten me...

can u get the same HP on a supercharger by upgrading parts like a turbocharger? or u just improve the HP by upgrading parts on the engine and the supercharger is a whole piece that cant be upgraded?

by the picture at the web page from alpine, it looks like it's way easier to intall and take care of than a turbocharger, it looks like it doenst have a lot of parts like a turbo to install... but i dont really know about this so i want to be well informed all about superchargers before i get one.

Look on Howstuffworks.com or go to your library. This forum shouldnt be about how do cars work. it should be about how would a supercharger fit on my RD or who makes htem for us. But because I'm a nice guy i'll tell you the main difference. Superchargers are powered by a belt from engine while turbochargers are powered by exhaust gas. So either figure out the advantages and disadvantages from that or like i said earlier look it up on howstuffworks.com
