If we have interest to buy short gear as GB, I can definitely set up a special price.

I will post there speed in terms of the ratio itself soon.

Re: Tranny goodies

would some adjustment be needed to the speedometer with the new FGR?

and what would be the top speed?

you cant figure out top speed based solely on gear ratios. theres so many other variables that it isnt even worth calculating.

i do not think you will need to alter the speedometer, because the speed sensor is located after the final gear.

STOCK
First 3.462
Second 1.950
Third 1.393
Fourth 1.061
Fifth 0.878

Final 3.650

REAL
1st gear (2.929)
2nd gear (2.053)
3rd gear (1.538)
4th gear (1.241)
5th gear (1.031)

choice...
FGR Final Gear (4.412)
FGR Final Gear (4.529)

so getting the gear set without the aftermarket final gear would cause your acceleration in first gear to be slower, but faster after that. your top speed would be lower with these gears, about 120.

only get the new final gear along with the new gear set if you want a rally car or a autocross car only. top speed would probably be around 90 mph with this combo. you would get there VERY fast though.

keeping your stock gears with one of the aftermarket final gears may be the perfect option for dragging. top speed about 110 but you would get there faster than stock. first gear would be a VERY short gear. expect to be in it for a second or two, if that. get the FG with the higher ratio if you want a better drag car. get the one with the lower gear ratio if you want a little more driveability.
