Just wondering if you can get stronger 1st-5th gears for my 1997 Tiburon for my Turbo setup

I'm honestly not sure, but I'll find out. M&Tec went out of business I believe, but there may be others.

i have also been wondering this.. there is rumor of some dog tooth stronger gears in korea but who knows if its true..
rob, you hitting that point yet where the gears are probably not liking it much, lol.. if your at higher power than you were last time, then your gears probably dont like you too much. lol

I heard that too there there is OR was a company that made dog deras for us?
I blew my 5th gear last year into pieces at WOT 20psi and dont want to take any chance this year into costly repairs mad.gif
Im really looking for a stronger 5th gear but having 1-4 wouuld also help.It suks where you cant boost in 5th gear and have to back off the throddle as its for cruising only.sucks mad.gif

Yes, companies over there DID (I don't know of any that still do) make dog tooth gears and the like. I even posted the name of one above, Mntec. Out of business.
I am checking to see if anything else is available, but searching and finding some of the old posts/info on it would definitely help

There are stronger gears off other Korean vehicles but they also tend to break and they have differt gear ratio, so basically you will have to live with tranny problem.
It's sad but I have broken my tranny 4times in a week (my record)..

Yes please give us better detail into what other gears will fit the BETA 1 Tranny to make it a bit stronger than th eones i have now?
