You have a 1.6L?

What I'd like to know, is if they can do this one in Korea, why can't they do a 2.0 to 2.0 swap kit for us as easily? I mean, if they need harness ends or something, we can get those EASILY andsend them in bulk. Just go to the junkers, and cut off the ECU harness with about 1 foot of wiring offof any Beta 1 US engines.

i was under the impression that you couldnt remap beta 1 ecu's due to the 8bit set up. is this untrue or is the 2.0 to 2.0 remap is intended for people with beta2 motors?

Ohhh....
when I read "2.o ECU remap" I automatically assumed that they had a) convertion for 1.6 ECUs OR b) a remap for 2.0 ECUs.

Actually what I have is the 2.0 version of the 1.6 ECUs that are around the world, so I'd guess I could qualify for that remap; just not from a 1.6 to 2.0, but from a 2.0 to a 2.0 remap.

And REDZ you are right, you should be able to change the ECU if you change harness AND MAF for a MAP (USA and Canda are the only places where beta 1 engines had MAF).

i think i'm gettin the point but just maybe to clear this up for the dumb people but is this something useful to beta1 2.0 maf people (majority of people on here) or am just totally wrong in thinking this is for us at all.
