I am not really complaining here, I just expected these to have the same style bulb housings as the ones in america, don't ask me why, these are Korean spec! LOL.
They look gorgeous, clear as day and they help set off the new carbon hood, along with the clear corners.
My only gripe is that the low beam bulb housings are H1 style instead of the US spec 9006.
Normally I wouldn't be upset, but when I have a $240 HID kit in the 9006 bulb style that I can no longer use, it is kind of a bummer.
I mainly created this topic so people who may be looking to buy these will know that they are H1 style low beam bulb housings, and their current bulbs - HID's or not - will not be compatible. Since it is not listed on Seoulful's site.
They took 3 weeks to arrive just for those of you looking for an ETA.
BTW these come with new low and high beam bulbs already installed, and they install and adjust perfectly.
Thanks.

Just sell your HID's for more than you bought them for and get a new set.
This is a known issue, bulb differences between the KDM/USA versions. The clear corners require a different SOCKET completely, as the KDM clears will not plug into the OEM harness.
It should be listed on the site, and if you contact jay about it, maybe he'll add it.

Yeah.
I am going to sell them (could I really get more than $240 for them?), but quite frankly, with the new bulbs and lamps the stock bulbs that came with the headlights light up the road better than the damn HID's did in the old housings. Maybe it is because the glass is so much clearer.
Why do these come with glass fronts in korea? Are all the hyundais of better quality over there or what?
BTW: are the little black trim pieces around the clear corners the only things that seal the lens onto the housing? If so I need to add some sealant because they are peeling off like crazy. They stay put, but they sure as hell aren't sealing, I am only concerned because the stock ones that came off were tightly adhered to the housings.
Thanks redz.

Yeah, they look MUCH better than the stock plastic ones. They really make the car look much nicer with the new carbon hood too.
How are the glass fronts holding up for you?
Thanks.

Very well. No issues at all. I was kind of worried about winters here, since I know the bulbs get extremely hot, and it can get like 10 below zero here, but I had no issues.
The H1 bulb is way brighter than the 9006, it's a great upgrade.

Good to hear,
I second the fact that the H1 is brighter, they light up the road better than my HID bulbs did.
I was thinking of doing some clear laminex on the headlights and front section of the carbon hood, and yellow on the fogs.
Do your cutoff lines slant upward toward the passenger side of the car?
Like if you park your car right in front of a wall, does the lighting pattern slant upward?
Mine do, and from the looks of the interior of the bulb housings, they are designed that way, I just wonder why?
Thanks.
