I've received a bunch of inquiries lately regarding vented CF hoods--or lack thereof--for the RD Tiburons. Well, I really don't see a problem getting them made, but never really thought there was much interest with RD guys. Is that so? If you'd like to see some options (other than the notorious ever-yellowing VIS models), what would appeal to you guys?
Just for eye candy or ideas, here are some popular ones...

Beautiful!!! I would love to get one, but money prevents that (unless I get a sponsor...) 02.gif
My favorite choices are: #3, #1 and #5 (in that order)
Hope it works out!

#2 is not the cadamuro, not by a long shot.
I really need a hood soon, before February. Any chance we can get Flyryde to send you guys the Cadamuro scoops I sent him to get them made into hoods?
They;d sell like hotcakes.

Obviously, these are all Seibon designs, but if there is any other products that you guys like, please post them up so I can take a look. Personally, I'd lean towards the first one for RD's since it's probably the best-selling GK design to date.
Pricing is usually in the $550 range (shipping is between $100-$150), which is certainly not cheap--but for a custom project, it really should be within most of your budgets. I can guarantee fitment and structural integrity since the particular overseas manufacturer that I have in mind for this has delivered excellent GK hoods. Even still, if we go ahead with a project such as this in Group Buy fashion, I would not even collect the full amount up-front since deposits are fine. Balances can be submitted when I'm ready to deliver. Just figured I'd let you all know if that is a concern anyone has.
The second design was actually made by Zefiro--which of course has that styling cue taken from the Toyota Celica. It hasn't been available up to this point, but I'm finally getting more inventory of them soon. We should start seeing these hoods popping up on GK's by the end of the year.
As for the Cadamuro hoods, I'd obviously need the scoops, but I'd also need an RD OEM hood. If there are any Cali people out there who can dig one up, there's certainly a chance I can get that off the ground. Has Chris said anything of the whereabouts of the Cadamuro scoops?

No. I know he has them, and I'm pretty sure he's been sent a RD1 and RD2 OEM hood for the mold too.
Sitting on them isn't helping anyone, and he can probably sell them also right?
