Hey, i was thinking, would you be able to make maybe like some fog light inserts for our RDs? Or maybe not a foglight insert but i was thinking more like this...

I think it would look nice and give the stock bumper a better look for those that dont like bodykits.

I think diffuser is what you were looking for. Not sure how you would make it for the rd. You could probably almost buy a "universal" one and make it work out nice. Cool idea

he's talking about the fog light inserts that are on the first gen elantra and tiburons to lower costs. they came as an option, whereas in 2000-2001 they were standard.

i don't think a lot of people would buy them because the ratio is like 3 to 1 rd2's on this website. they would probably cost a lot, and for that kind of money wouldn't it make more sense just buy foglight HID's? i mean which one would you rather have, $150 inserts, or $185 beast lights improving road vision safety.

i also rd2's don't have inserts, it's just the foglight.

we'll call it an bumper air scoop, I think thats its intended purpose anyway.
either way, very cool idea and very doable

I think I'm going to have to get a couple Tib bumpers both models to play around with and come out with some new stuff for peeps.

wouldnt it be better to just get REAL cf material and wrap it to the plastic OE insert? i dont think this is for weight saving anyways.

if i where looking for something it would be like this.

or a sexy rear diffuser.

That's different than what the stock insert is, and it will be made out of REAL cf material. smile.gif Too bad I don't have a stock bumper.

Yeah, i'm talking about real CF diffusers, so called by Ericy.

I think they would add a little looks to the stock bumpers and we would also be able to use the foglights since these would be outside of were the foglights go. I just didnt know what the name would be for these things that's why i put foglight inserts.
