Visit to the Samsung Museum of Transportaion in Seoul

The first pic is of the car that came to get us (Yoon's cousin works as a Porsche importer in Seoul - Yoon had that nice XG and also the other Pony)

The next pic is of my ride, the rest, Enjoy!

Amazing showcase! I would think that the DMC12 is in there because it was designed by Giugiaro, who designed the first Ponies. I also didn't know that Kia comes from Seoul and came right after Hyundai.

It's also awesome that they have a Tiburon in there, but it should be an RD1 :( and they should have some HCD 1 - 3's in there at least :(.

The Delta remains my favorite of the collection. Although I like them all, and considerably better than the auto display at the Smithsonian.

I also didn't know that the Matiz came with a roof rack!

This is a private collection, by the owner of Samsung Corporation.

Every car in that showroom is routinely started and maintained, as if the CEO wants to take any one of them for a boot, he's got to be able to do it in 20 minutes (fuel and battery are brought to the car) or else heads will roll!

EVERY CAR!

He's got his own private circuit as well.

Amazing place. Full of awesome. Overflowing with awesome, in fact.

That is pretty cool. I actually really like the old Pony (never seen one before). The RD2 is dope in full race spec. Nice collection overall.

Not only did I get to see it, I got to TOUCH it! It was a trip man, but I still say the pre 79 models were even better - They had two door versions, wagon versions, and pickup versions.

The pickup versions were the ONLY ones to make it to MKII, and those are UNIQUELY the ones I see on the roads of Korea (albeit very rarely!)
