i just want to know more about this fuel management. anyway the piping and everything looks very similar to my setup. my manifold was a pain in the ass as well due the the piping being so close to the stud. looks awesome man

wow...

the install is soo clean, and perfect... i love it.. the exhaust is beautiful, and i bet a TON cheaper, even with that muffler, than the apexi catback.

the heat shield between manifold and rad is a good idea, really like that.

fabrication looks really good.

the rad. hose should be fine with the engine movement though. i would do some solid engine mounts. i LOVE my solid ones.. the car feels soo much better under accel. and shifting.

the ONLY thing i can see having some issues is the return line being a little low on the pan.

don't bother with ceramic coating the exhaust.. itll just be a huge waste of $$. as long as its painted you will be fine..

and about the under axle thing, it woulda probably given ya a little better flow, but it really hangs kinda low, especially if the car is lowered. mine scrapes alot, so its probably better its over axle.. but if its going to be a PURE track car, i would let the exhaust dump at the track.

i bet you spent about 2X as much on your turbo parts as anyone else on here, but it pays to spend the money to get high quality stuff, like HKS IC, HKS BB turbo, maintec header, and etc..

i envy your turbo setup..

Thanks for the props guys. smile.gif
This winter I will be getting a new paint job, coilovers, strut tower braces and big brakes. The next year will be internals and tranny.

Also starting this year we will be trying to help all of you guys with the ECU. The turbo guys will be easy to help since we have files made up already. The files are only setup for 5psi at the moment because that's how far I got with my setup. In a week or so we will bring that up to about 7 or 8 psi but I don't want to do anymore on just stock internals. People running more, we can flatten out the maps so you can use your piggybacks without any leaning out problems. Just until I get files for other mods which will be next year or if someone wants to make a road trip to Calgary. fing02.gif

With that said...this mod will always need to be emulated in real time for anything to work properly. Since I have a turbo setup it will be easy to just chip the turbo guy's ecu and make files for them.
N/A guys will be a little harder since we never did much with it. I had all stock with the ecu modded then we went turbo. So the problem for you guys is we need to emulate for different mods like cams, exhaust and so on. We were thinking maybe buying other car and doing that for you guys but those plans will be made for next year. We could calculate the difference in mods and atmosphere but will see how much that works. Don't worry though we are still working out a solution for you guys.

cool! can't wait to see what you can offer with the ecu. Really all you would need to do is get the ecu to quit fighting piggyback systems and you'd be able to sell em like hotcakes.

Alright here are some graphs of some of the tuning.

Here are the stock maps for part load and full throttle vs. the turbo maps for part load and full throttle. You can see the graphs are very different.

Stock Full Throttle map

Turbo Full Throttle map

This dyno is when we were tuning a few of the maps. It's at 0.36 bars but the turbo wasn't broken in yet so we didn't want to hammer on it.
We are going to finish the fine tuning on all the maps now that the turbo is all broken in and dyno it. Also we are going to setup the turbo controller for some more boost.
The curves are so smooth...it's great. I can't wait to finish tuning. We never red lined it and you can see we started letting off near the end.

Very nice curve's there. I hope you will be running abit richer on the air/fuel ratio since your on stock internals.

Thanks for the pictures, I now know where to talk to to tune our ECU's.
