Man, that's what i want to reach haha Maybe i can maybe not, but i will try it Respect ;) |
whats you idea for a engine parts list,?
im tellin you this now before its too late, for 1/5 of the cost of a NA build, you can have the same power in a turbo with the same street manners as a NA vehicle and not have it sprung out and have to rev to retarded high RPMs to make any power (which is going to add an insane amount of stress on the motor) plus a turbo is going to have torque which you will lose with a NA vehicle a 200hp NA build is going to lose reliability and will not "behave" like a normal street car,you will issues with it |
As to date, I think i8acobra holds the record for the most HP on an NA tib. He can chime in but I think he was right around 195 hp.

Faith is speaking the truth.
If this is a "I'm throwing money at this just because it is what I want to do" sort of thing, fine. But anyone with even a simple turbo setup will be making more power and torque, and will have a faster Tib. Good luck with your project! |
iirc cobra never even hit 160 hp with his(if he did, it was BEARLY higher)
there have been higher in korea, but for the most part those were dedicated race vehicles and were not ever street driven |

Vimesa is a spanish exhaust factory specialized in racing

I wonder about the 4g63 crank. My friend has one out of his car and it looks close but I know his rods are slightly longer than mine however the Beta main journal is 57mm while the 4g63 is 56.98mm
Beta rods 146.126mm and 93.5mm stroke (center to center) 4g63t rods 150mm and 88mm stroke (center to center) Will be interested to see how this unfolds. I also removed every inch of sound deadening from my Tib and it makes the 'car sounds' very nice inside the cabin. I dont imagine you will have to upgrade your fuel lines for an NA build...save your cash and spend it elsewhere. |
Good luck but I +1 goin Turbo! Will be interest to see how it turns out...
