Are the sokie tech hood struts any good? I heard of people trying them and they didnt hold the hood open and or didnt let it close all the way and or didnt even fit at all? Tell me about them and if they are worth buying off ebay. Here is the current ebay item number on the auction for reference: 290414687423 Let me know what u think or give me pics

I think they are the ones people had a lot of trouble with, talk to DTN I think he had a set, alternatively you could sift through a thousand old threads, i know Ive seen them talked about before, but not the slightest clue where.

They mount too close to the pivot point and stripped the holes out of my hood. Sokie Tech The Name You Can Always Count On It.

i had them as well and they suck...they lift the hood fine, but put a gap in the hood when its closed on the sides

get redline hood struts instead
