Hey, it's an excuse to put in an aftermarket steering wheel. No more airbags. And if it is totalled, so what? That's how I got my tib, bought it totalled and paid cash to fix it up. Total I've got about half the sticker cost into it, it's totally paid for, Custom hood, Steering wheel, clear corners, headers, etc. Finnishing the work on it now. IMO the only reason a salvage title will hurt you is on resale, and I will NEVER have to worry about that. Keeping her for life! 8)

 

usually when the airbags deploy in most cases the car is considered totaled but you never know. gl on that.

 

I hit a curb almost a year ago airbags went off, winsheild broke seatbelts locked.
I had no damage what so ever other than that 8O , I was ok.
Hope there is no damage on yours.

i hit a van and crushed my left fender, made the small crack in my windshield bigger, and neither air bags went off 8O
just use this as an excuse to get new stuff if you plan on keepin it :-)

 

That sucks man, It doesn't look all that bad thouth. I work at a bodyshop and we've done 3 or 4 tibs hit alot harder than that . Good luck with it man.
