Official Tibbi Build Thread
So after all of these years, its finally time to get serious about putting some power into the Tib.
I'll be posting pics of the Tib before too long, but for now I'm just stoked to get some parts and get this build rolling.
I've had these for a while, but finally putting them on tomorrow:
Just Megans, but they'll do for now. Plus I'm not going to be racing competitively, this will be plenty for the street. Painting some XG350 calipers to match, pics coming soon.
The following are compliments of SR Tech.
Representing RDT!!
Make no mistake, I've got nothing but for HA. But gotta show my respect for the old school and my first hyundai home.
It's not the fmic I've really had my eye on, but the price was right. That BOV though is exactly what I was looking for! Fuel pump in this box as well.
The head should be in before long then off for PnP. I'll get some shots of the Tib after things get installed and I get him cleaned up a bit.
Its fun to finally get this seriously under way. My goal is to have everything done before the 32 hits shore fall next year. There is much MUCH more to come. I'll also toss in some pics of the A-dub and 944 as things progress on them.

The POR-15 shipped out today. It should be here next week.
I have decided to coat the control arms to make sure these don't rust.
I'll snag some pics during the build.
Also found out I'm going to be build another head instead of using my own. That should be in next week as well.

Got home Wednesday night to find this:
You dirty girl.
Went right to work, no need to sit around and wait for it to build itself. Put it in a tupperware bucket so I didn't get soot and oil all over the floor.
All of the vales and springs have been removed since taking this picture. Taking the head over for a good cleaning an pnp next week. After it gets back full Ferrea valvetrain with 1.8L cam and adjustable cam gear.
In honor of getting greasy and nasty in my own living room, I decided to make a drink.
Yesterday this came in too:
I haven't have a chance to play with it yet. Today is our 5th wedding anniversary, this weekend is her sisters birthday and Sunday we have a pair of mothers to woo. Needless to say it's been busy.
I'm also putting the finishing touches on the XG brake upgrade. As you can see I did a failed trial run of the the old RDT logo on the rotors, but in the old apartment I just didn't have the room or equipment to do the job right. This time I'm revisiting this project and think the results will speak for them selves.
