Wow man, looks better than I expected.

We need to get SOCKS over there to see if they can do a system for CF/FG hoods, one that goes to the hood mounts maybe. I don't know if this will work for our hoods.

How hard is it to raise and lower them?

Can you get some closeup shots of the connection points?

I'm assuming it's all with rivets? How do we install them if we don't have a rivet gun?

lol dont know havent tried but they should
yes redz they are done with rivets. as for install without rivet gun idk.. i think the kit comes with more material than i got. i love the way it works on my car. i lift the hood bout 1/4 way then it lifts by itself. i dont see how a cf hood should be that different. but alas i just dont know. i asked them and they said it should work on cf/fg

looks slick !!

i always liked the way my brothers GK hood lifted up with ease and without a hood stand

why is there all this doubt that it would be too strong for a CF hood ? do you guys realize how strong CF ?? its brittle but not fragile !

its not that it would be too strong, just with the hood being lighter, you would pop the latch, and it would fly up fast, clocking bystanders in the head.. lol

anyway, i can try to get over there after my body work is finished, on a weekend, and see if they will do them on my CF hood, as long as i dont have to pay for em, lol

My worry is how strong the struts are. I know how strong CF is, but you put too strong of a strut on, and you blow out the mounting holes on your CF/FG hood.

Those things are like, you know, under pressure and stuff.

yeah, im sure they have ones rated to different strengths. just like that have different actuators to open things, and shocks rated to lift lambo doors.
