1997 Tiburon (base). It's got a header and full exhaust from the PO. It's not perfect but it was fairly cheap (am I right about that?) at $1,000.

It's a 5spd, new tires although not the ones I'd like to see on there! Runs good with 131k.

This is my first foray into sporty cars of any kind. I've always been a big fan of anything that can be made fast and handle well. The Tiburon seems like just the thing. I've driven (in) a ZO6 Corvette and some other nice cars but this is my first that I've owned. I paid a grand so NO, I'm not expecting a ZO6-like car but it'll certainly do for me!

Yeah, I want to do that and the resonator removal DIY. Seems pretty straightforward. I'll do plugs, wires and the small stuff too.

Thanks for the replies, guys!

looks like mine when i first got it!!! LOVE the curves. this is what made me fall in love with it. It's begging for some eibach springs, HID's, and gunmetal rims and nothing more. mmmmm.

i don't care of old hyundais are tin can, they can handle, they're eye candy, and you can't beat a great machine for $1000.
