Well, anyone remember about my car being wrecked? Now, it's still like it is...but I am about to put it in the shop. I ordered a VIS Invader carbon hood for it...i'll post pics of the hood as it is right now, and Sometime Next week or the week after, I'll be posting pics of the Tib with the hood and the new wheels! Oh, and sorry that I've been popping on and off of this forum..been busy trying to get things sorted out.

great thing about the VIS CF hood is the latch is real, it has 4 very solid bolts to the hood, on a metal frame. Unlike other companies, for example phorq's hood which he and i both agree has a chinsey latch, seems like its glued onto the CF.

Some wont recomend going without hood pins, but its because they havent seen the latch on the VIS hood, you could tow a car with that thing.

Chances are youll have to use washers to make the latch longer to get it to latch right; you can get at me if you cant figure out what i mean.

Was it $580 shipped on ebay?

the erebuni hood has a nice latch too.. ive had it on for like 3 yrs? no hood pins.. no problems.. had to put a washer i believe to make it latch far enough but thats it.. i love the hood, but will be getting rid of it soon when i can get myself a scoote II hood in FG. and kb if you still want it you got it.

I never use ebay, I just can't trust it. It was like $680.00 after tax and everything from a website that hooked me up with VIS. But I can make that money back in about 2 weeks.
