Rick,

another way to look at it is stickers showing what you have in your car is something most of the members in this site don't do basically because we are all family and family sticks up for one another. we just don't want your stuff stolen or Lori's stuff stolen bud. I live in rural america also and pretty much most of the time my car is left unlocked. i feel is something in my car is wanted badly enough it is better to leave it unlocked then to have to pay for a new window and also have to repay for stolen items. advertising what you have is just one less chance that someone will look in your car per chance.

on a side note, i absolutely love what you and Lori have done with the car. you have definitely done alot of work on it since all the damage happened to it, i give props for that. fing02.gif

have you done any interior mods to it yet?

Personally, I'm not worried about my car because I've got a car alarm, it automatically activates 1 minute after the doors are closed, it has a moving body sensor which you don't even need to touch the car to set off, and it's got strobes, as if the sound weren't enough.. I always have my car near enough to hear it, or in an open area which noone would steal anything from it.

When I take pictures or go to car shows I'll always spray it with tire shine so that it's blacker. Otherwise I won't even put tire shine on my tires most of the time.

get a good car alarm with a pager. Get one with a mercury switch so if they jack it up, it'll activate the alarm as well.

no need for that mercury switch. Anything moving inside my car including stuff in the glovebox or a piece of paper shifting will set off the alarm. It's really touchy. It goes off with the windows down from a slight breeze against a piece of paper. Bumping or shifting the car with a moving body sensor will set it off. I would however like a 2 way pager. It seems kinda cool. If I were to do that, I'd go with one of those type that sends a picture of your car to your pager so you have a picture of the guy.

urSONvs , There isnt much done to the interior other than the system. All there is is the shifter boot to match interior and the shift knob matches as well and has half real carbon fiber also. We havent figured out what we want as far as the interior yet. We dont like painted interiors so it is stock and most likely will stay that way. WE have ALOT of other cars and projects that we are both dying to get done and we stay so busy with our daytime jobs and we also own a store where we sell and deliver furniture daily. PLUS!!! I do alot of different side jobs! I love my toy money plus i have kids and they have everything they want and more. Oh way way off subject yet again sorry! I do that alot. I ordered a steering wheel that is interior matched as well half carbon and red stitched leather. It has nitrous buttons for when we add the nitrous but we cant even seem to have time to get the cam in we have just laying in my office floor.
