i thought 12000k was supposed to be purple?

 

i thought that too but i guess each manufacture have their own set of colored tint depending on kelvins.

i just got my 6k btw and they are bright as hell. They are pure white and man do they look good. I'll have some pics soon.

 

Do you have an update on the quality from GreatValueMart? It's been a month or two, any problems at all?

 

no problem, the HIDS are excellent i love them like crucial man. I just need to get the aim of the beam right. omg man u will love these.

i have the 6000k one rite now and its white with a very very very faint hint of blu. love the clarity.

 

What kind of warranty do they come with? I may have to get these since they are lasting.

 

they have a 1 year warranty on bulb and ballast. When i got my 12000k they were too blue so they were kind enough to send me 6000k bulbs but this is not to everyone, i was an acception. The email communications were quick response so if anything, they can help u asap. When i ordered it, it took 3 days to arrive. so u be the judge.

 

Pretty simple install? I mean are they a simple kit like the one Uneek sells?

 

plug and play. no splicing of anything. the only time consuming thing was trying to get the whole in the cap of the headlight. i did a crap job cause i was anxious but there might be better ways of doing it.

 

Do you have to completely reseal the hole you make with like silicon or something?

 

i never got the time to seal it. but i think that dude did it in a diy
