I ordered a 55w 8000K DDM/Apexcone HID kit along with the optional relay kit and it arrived today (about a week from purchase). The install was exactly the same as most every other kit except in addition to drilling a 7/8ths hole in the back of the headlight cover, I had to cut 2 notches on either side of that hole to get the big coupler at the end of the bulb harness through. Not a big deal at all, the hardest part was tucking everything away and making it look nice. Well here's a few pics and a video that I took.

Looks good man, looks just like mine, wait a sec....It is the same thing my wife got me for christmas.

These are the best things ever, every car I own from now on will have a set slapped into it.

Yeah I went driving last night for about an hour, passed 4 cops, and no one hassled me, not one person flashed their brights. Guess that means I aligned them correctly and I should have no troubles smile.gif Man these things are awesome, Im going driving tonight again for no reason, haha.

You will have people flashing your brights at you for sure from time to time, or at least I do.

But it might be cause I am one of only probablly 5 or 6 people in town with HID's. (And I have them pointed kind of high)

Looks great, quick question though, might sound stupid..

i've searched around abit and found diffrent answers ..

what is the bulb type for low beams on RD2 headlights?

i have a 1997 with 01 front end and i was gonna purchase a conversion kit some places it says H7 some say 9006 or something like that..

i don't think there 9006 cuz i've purchased a set before for a friends car..

if you could please chime in and help me out it be a great help.
