You only have moderator powers in those forums you moderate. Only admins have powers over everything... otherwise, there would be no specific moderator for a specific section.

i like the pedals, beats the hell outta the stockers
and as for the engine bay, i just painted my aos strut brace to match the intake and spark plug cover. I am putting the bar back on when I get home from work. I will try and upload some newer pis of the enging bay.
any tips on what to do with the nasty sound proof / fire blanket black thing under the hood? can i paint it at all? I have heard if i take it off it will be very noisy.

The tib looks clean man keep it up. As far as the blanket under the hood it really wont make it noisy but it will make the top side of the hood hotter.

i updated my pics of the engine bay, I put my strut brace back on, after I painted it.
as for the hood liner I am just wondering what to do after or if i take it off, mirror film? coloured film or carbon fiiber vinyl sticker?
oh, and seeing as how a few of you including me think that my cheap floor mats should go, does anyone have suggestions on a new set?

What paint did you use to match the Strut Bar to the Intake?

I used Dupli-Color Metalcast, It is a really close match to the AEM red.

I love that paint.

I use the blue alot. I may do my whole dash with it. High temp and all.

Redz, I am also thinking of doing my dash with the red. That paint system is pretty very cool. Or I am going to try the new Krylon plastic paint. I am not sure if they have a candy or anodized red look though.

Oh, and an update on the ol' floor mats.
I picked up a set of diamond plate mats, so no more pepboys floor mats, booyaa

Where did you get your diamond plate floor mats?

I bought the mats off Viper966 from Buffalo, I don't remember who he got them from. I am sure that if you take your mats to a place that does Metal work the can trace out the floor mat and cut it out for you.

you dont want them java.. and canadian shark i can paint your dash for you.. just did mine again and i put ghost superman symbols in it too

Hey man, let me know how it comes out if you paint the whole dash with the Anodized paint kit.

Should be tight, but might be a bit shiny. I know it's a high heat paint though, should be good up there.
