The tibby is gone, back to the leasing company. (so sad) The tib was fun, and now it is time for a change. I bought this one. I did not want to get a new tib (yuck)
Damn, now I might have to change my nickname too.
Anyway this is my new vehicle.

Probably do some small mods, put my system from my RD in it. Paint calipers, maybe intake, i dunno.

new pics of my sound system. I installed it all myself, I made the amp racks, covered them in fake leather and hid all the wires behing the panels.

no way, I really liked my tib, and Hyundai. I am not ready to leave the whole Hyundai scene yet.

yes, waiting out would have been a more decent option. i believe this is the last model year of that Santa Fe. Since they're makin the Tucson, which is like 6 inches smaller or somethin like that, they're makin the Santa Fe even bigger....

i dunno. i'm just ramblin

if the GK motor is called a delta, then yes, its the 2.7 L V6

hmmm... I would take it to RippMods and let them drop there S/c in that engine compartment. A Superharger would be best in something like that, you want torque, not high end power... wonder if the tranny can handle it?

It is the same setup as the GK and you can get everything from Eibach to a header. wink.gif

I am also glad you stuck to a Hyundai and will be very interested to see what you do with it.

What did they say about the vinyl, rotors, calipers....etc when you turned the Tib back in?

I turned the car back to stock when I gave it back, you wouldn't even know it had looked like that.

the vinyl was only on my car for 2 months. So the sticker came off pretty easily. I made sure the side was in the sunshine and just started to pull from one end. I used some alcahol from work to take the remaing glue off.

since that pic was taken, i have gotten the front windows tinted 20%.
and installed my sound system, bros gauges, blacked out bumper lens'.
I might get rims in the spring.

you would be surprised how well that little sub works in an suv. it is a dual voice coil sub, and i have the 300s rockford running it. it is plenty loud enough for me.

lift it on say 35's or so....then supercharge it and go have at whatever you want...weather it be racing cars from a stop in a straight line or ripping up a dirt hill in the woods...
