Well bin doing stuff to my Tib, i sprayed all the black bits (handles, drink holder, ashtray, little compartment between ashtray and head unit, air vents and window switch covers ) all in chrome. yep thats right chrome, i think it looks cool, what do you think guys, not everyones choice but hey i like it.

My wife wants me to do her Tib tomorrow, she wants to keep everything stock except the bits i've done, plus i have some work to do on her wheels, i'll post pics of my wifes tib when its done.

Oh, new A/C knobs on order.

That looks awesome!!!
How durable is the chrome and the rest of the paint? I did my rear speaker covers, and the paint seems to chip off somewhat easily when bumped (or dropped lol) , and same with the stuff I painted chrome under the hood. Have you had any similar problems?
Also did you clearcoat over the blue?

Off topic: Has anyone simply clearcoated their whole dash without painting it first, so that way you end up with a super shiny finish on the stock parts?

my dash is really shiney when its clean, even with if i added a clear on it, i doubt there would be much difference.

The blue paint has been on a while now and had no problems with it, as long as you sand and prime it a few times before you put your colour on and build the colour up in stages you should'nt have any problems.

Thanks for you comments StikeEagle.

Not too bad. My opinion? You did a bit TOO much on the vents, and the door handles. I think they look better if you just do the surround parts.

Of course, that's how I have MINE done. LOL

The door pull handles, that's a new idea there, and not bad. I'm just afraid it will wear off easily.

Two other things you can paint that are easy, the side window defroster vents on the top of the door panel, and the little triangles that are on the inside where the mirrors mount.

No, just had a look in your garage, could'nt tell from the outside shots and could'nt find any interior pics, on your mods list theres a bit that says painted interior, clicked that but there was just the write up of what you had done.

Post us a pic if you don't mind ,to give me an idea as to what it looks like, i've got some spray left, so you never know.
