If you can get them made for something like a decent price, there might be a market for a small number of those hoods.

It's really nice to see someone actually RACING their car. So many people bolt on a few parts and call it good. Have fun, stay safe, and try to keep the greasy side down!

This car is made for only one purpose so we are racing it every time we can and how finances are allowing us

Short steering gearbox has arrived

We did a little try out on track to see that everything is working properly

Our class is 1600ccm+ open what means that everything that have 1600ccm engine or more, and are tuned, is in our class.

Stock cars have their own class!

They are multiplying turbo and S/C engines with x1,7 to define our ccm value so on entry form for race we must input that we have 2718ccm

Our class is “open” what means that we can do everything we like on car, only restriction is that car must have minimum of 850kg without driver

In our class depending on race and track we race against Subaru Impreza, Mistubishi EVO 7-8-9, Lancia Delta Integrale, Clio 2.0 Sport, Peugeot 106 Turbo, Saab 9003 Turbo, BMW M3 E36/E46… and few times there was Clio R3 FIA rally spec

We finished first only one time last year and on normal races we are rounding around third to fifth place in our class (15 cars in class) and 15-30 place in total order (64-130 cars in total order)

For the first time we didn’t have luck

We had a transmission failure…

Just have one picture, one move and a “window” that it is not supposed to be there…

I forgot to mention… class is open but safety technical regulations for the car allow us to put in twice the big engine from what was the biggest engine that factory put in that chasee.

1.5 engine was biggest engine in X3 so we are allowed to put in 3L engine max.

Like I wrote before, turbo and S/C they are multiplying with x1,7 to get equivalent ccm so if we use 2.0 Beta it would be 3400ccm, if we use 1.8 Beta it would be 3060ccm, and only 1.6 Engine is under 3000ccm (2700ccm).

We could use 2.0 Beta or 2.7 V6 from Coupe GK but in that way that engine must be N/A and we wouldn’t be allowed to use any kind of F/I on it
