I can't believe that made 630! That is pretty rigged up.

It looks like the just ran the rear engine when they needed it and shut it down when it wasn't running to stop from overheating.

With some attention to detail and a lot of work you could easily make 450 awd. Then shut off the rear engine for good economy while driving around.

315 on methanol x 2 turbo'd stock engines isn't too hard.

I like the way they used the older non-catalytic converter stock exhaust manifold as a turbo manifold. Least that's what it looks like they did.

well I wasn't saying that it would be hard, just hard without doing some rigged up job like they did. (I should have said something like, I can't believe they were forcing that setup to make 630). Man, not an intercooler in sight. One radiator-less motor. Alt relocated to the a/c to fit in rigged up manifolds. Plus the beat to death methanol plus a completely aluminum motor.

edit: lol, plus there's a bit of holy crap, my project looks waaay better (or any of yamaha's or anyone else of the site for that matter) than that and it was done by a shop? From the history of this I guess it was supposed to be a bit like that, looking extra rough to get people to race for cash. But I don't think it just looked the part.

I didn't take any photo's of the underside of the car because we didn't have time to take any. The car is using one OEM radiator and the coolant lines are running on the underside of the car. I forsee too many gremlins in the future for the car, so it will most likely be for sale soon as I just want to get out of it what I paid for.

Of course after the original build noone really knew about and then more people after that messing with it. I can only imagine all the stuff going on in that car.

You know, from what I'm seeing in the pictures, it might be a good idea just to clean the fuxor out of the engine bays and use some jbweld all over everything to increase stability.

What is that under the rear engine? Is that a bunch of rocks?

I mean, this job is really just 2 custom engine jobs welded into place. If you have a welder and an extra engine, you could always just do repairs. Keep it mang.

What's the problems you're describing?

I thought the point of getting this sucker, for that cheap, was to rebuild it right. I mean damn, talk about a project car. Take a ton of pics, tear it apart, do it right, then do after photos. Show what a enthusiast that knows what they are doing can do.
