Haven't been around here in a while. Figured I share my turbo setup with you.
Internally gated Garrett T3 57 trim
Boosting 7psi - creeps up to 10.
Custom 2.5" mandrel welded turbo-back exhaust.
NAW OEM Wideband
Megasquirt

Here are some pictures:

And a video of the megasquirt dash during boost. Sorry for the crappy video.

Boost is lots of fun. To those of you that aren't boosted - find a way, it's really not that hard, and totally blows anything NA out of the water.
I haven't autocrossed it yet - that will be fun.

I like the kit fing02.gif Looks like you have alot of space in the engine bay.

What are you running for your fuel system?

Thanks
It's all custom - I've been piecing it together for probably 3+ years... Finally I took the plunge and completed it.
Using the megasquirt for fuel tuning.
Still stock injectors but they can't keep up under full boost at 7000RPM... new injectors are on order.
Lots of room in the engine bay because I don't have an intercooler... yet
Although the downpipe comes way to close to the alternator...

Looks real good. That must be a new manifold, they don't stay looking that good forever. Just don't try to paint it. It does not hold up. If you must cover it, weld the stock heat shield on, or use heat wrap. It is a very nice looking manifold though.

Thanks
The manifold is new - put half a tank of premium through it (140KM's lol - it was all under boost). I spray ceramic coated the inside with VHT flameproof.
I have been able to tune the AFR just fine, other than like I said - the injectors are maxed out at 7K...(I was trying to hit 11.8:1 @ max boost @ 7000RPM) Megasquirt is so nice for tuning, as I imagine any standalone would be.
I was surprised to see how fast the IAT rises during boost... I haven't thoroughly heatsoaked the setup yet - just short runs. lots of tinkering left to do for sure.

Looks good! But like everyone said intercooler and quick. Surprised to see the IAT jump.... you are compressing air which causes a rise in temps. All in all looks good. Did you make the megasquirt yourself or buy it from kfx?

The inside? That sounds dangerous.

I made the MS myself long before KFX was even on this site. (see the DIY section here on RDT)
I understand compressing air creates heat, I just didn't realize it would soak my IAT sensor with so much heat that it takes minutes to cool back down...
And DTN, my ceramic paint wasn't running after I sprayed it on my manifold, and I baked it in the oven first to cure it. It's not going anywhere.

I've tried that. it did not work. That thread covers 3 different attempts at painting, each one was a very good attempt to get high temp paint to stick to a manifold. Just be prepared to have to clean your cat is all. The high temp paint flakes off.
