Re: Pre-turbo

I'm just looking for suggestions on what gauges to pick up, I want something that will go with the interior of the tib pretty well. I like the autometer c2 gauges but it would be better if they glowed green rather than blue.

also what guages are necessary for a turbo setup? I know a boost gauge and that a egt is a very good idea. laugh.gif

Re: hyundai Mice GB!!!

Boost Gauge.... Air/Fuel... (or get a Wide Band) Pyrometer (EGT)

Re: Halo 2 Tourney!

Oil pressure and Temperature would be of great use also.

Re: Noise when Turning

I'm thinking I probably need to get a boost, egt, and a/f guages. anyone still trying to sell that triple pillar pod?

Has anyone seen any green glowing gauge (like the c2's)? or something that flows pretty well with the tibs interior?

That's a good mix, just get anything that monitor's the important stuff.

As for the C2 gauges, you could prolly buy them and take them apart to use a green cover. That's a lot of work but it would be worth it. I'm sure it can be done.

Re: Exhaust?

hum... maybe I'll go with the autometer lunar gauges. they seem to glow about the same color at my pioneer stereo. laugh.gif

whats the advantage to having boost/vacuum? rather than just a boost gauge?

Re: turbo timer

boost, EGT, water temp, oil pressure, not necessary but helpful is a wideband O2 but if you have high EGT's you can assume you are running lean
but the first 4 is what im going to have in my tib, im not going to bother with the A/F

Re: TICKET

there is no need for an A/F when you can just look at your SAFC II

Re: EBAY Alert NEW Red AEM CAI

well, there sorta is if you dont have an EGT. Your S-AFC II doesn't give you as good of a reading as a wideband. Just wondering why you said an S-AFC II would be just as good.

Re: dyno

I thought that it would. I guess that I still have a lot to learn. I am not questioning you because I am a SUPER newbie at this stuff compared to you. But, if you tune your A/F ratio with the S-AFC, then wouldn't it be vital that it gets the appropriate readings?
