ok, well i thought i knew how to install this thing and had seen pictures of it installed at what i thought was between the fuel filter and the rail....

then today i'm responding to ozfxcoupe's turbo questions post and take a closer look at the help files over on vortech's site.

look at page 10

that clearly shows it being installed after the fpr and suddenly the workings of the fmu make soooo much more sense to me. was i the only one thinking this or are there others that were confused?
