1) Cast steel

2) AXIS stainless type I (picture from APC Elantra XD car)

3) AXIS stainless type II (shown with Tial super waste max)

4) AXIS stainless type III with Tial wastegate opening outlet

Cast steel $360 send out by DHL saver express to customer direct.

Most stainless type cost $580 same as above.

Since I import body kits bi-weekly most of time, I can offer at following price for ocean (4 weeks) delivery and subsequent FEDEX Ground is also free with in USA business address.

Cast steel cost $260

Stainless cost $480

what grade of stainless are the axis? 304 or 316? the reason i ask is that 304 tends to flex a lot when it is hot then warp when it cools so for a turbo car you really want no less than 316.

the only bad thing i see with the stainless is that the waste gate flange does not innersect with all 4 runners which will cause boost creep.

the best way to fix that would be to not have a waste gate flange on the manifold itself. there are plates that come with the flange built in and bolt on to the bottom of the manifold where the turbo would normally bolt to.

after you bolt the plate to the manifold then you would bolt the turbo to the plate along with the waste gate so that all 4 runner will dump into the waste gate prior to the turbo and you will se no boost creep at all and it also gives more space under the hood.

i do like the axis 3 though. the others look to crowded and i am not a big fan of cast because it hold in to mush heat and looks nasty after a while. plus the tubular manifolds flow much better than cast.

i know they are not around any more but club gorilla use to sell a hot tubular manifold. i wish they were still around, they had a hot body kit too.
oh well, all good things come to an end i guess.

They all look pretty good Rick, personally, I'm stuck on equal length myself.

Any of these fit that bill?

Thanks for all the feebacks.

The material in Korea producing small quantity product is somewhat scarce. 304 is very common and 316? I never heard it from Korea.

All stainless type is made to be equal length. Since the manifolds are made to fit each of their own turbo kit, I think it is difficult to make separate wastegate plate underneath. This will mis align all the rest of the kit.

#2 was custom work, since the kit was made for GK. We tried both cast and stainless and notice that there are very small spaces installing stainless type.

The pictures we took prior to installing body kit and paint for APC Elantra XD.

The intercooler was re-align again, after we installed the Zefiro boy kit. APC wants the intercooler shows out clear on front bumper vent 2 days before Las Vegas SEMA Show

For cast manifold, I am looking into places to do ceramic coating

PROSS and Gorilla is much alike company. Their supplier for muffler and manifold is/was from KIC.........partial supplier of JIC-MAGIC to Japan.

If you have Champion pics, please post here. I am 5,000 miles away from Champion Co.
